Think talk is cheap? Try calling an airline reservation clerk

If you call an airline you'll be charged for speaking with a reservation clerk. You probably know that, but how much do they charge? Really. Take a guess right now. 


I'll bet you said $10 because that has been the standard charge for years now. Some airlines are still charging $10, but many others are experiencing fee inflation. Booking an airline ticket by phone can cost as much as $25! So when buying airline tickets, start with the internet.
