The government is giving away money and tax breaks to consumers willing to save energy. Install a solar energy system, buy energy efficient appliances, insulate your home and the government will pay you. You may qualify for 50 bucks or be eligible for tens of thousands of dollars.

Here's the problem: How do you know? There are so many programs/rebates/tax incentives it is all but impossible to keep track.
