It is no secret many students are graduating from college, deep in debt, with no way to pay their student loans. Jobs are hard to come by and mom and dad are having their own financial difficulties. So here's a solution: join the military. Each branch of the military has its own program with its own rules, but you can get as much as $65,000.00 for signing up. If that sounds like a good option to you, talk with recruiters from each branch of the military and have them bid for your services.

I loved your insight into this join the Army to pay off your loan, wouldn't it be great if we just didn't get into debt in the first place. I honestly think that if you want to get out of debt you have to be set REALISTIC GOALS and be serious about sticking to them!!
Another option is get some budgeting advice and learn how to budget your money http://www.betterliving.co.nz/content/athome/Budgeting-How-To-Budget-Your-Money/default.aspx

I couldn't agree more with the previous post. With all the scholarships, grant money, company sponsored tuition reimbursement and jobs, the majority of educational expenses could be paid for.
I also feel too many students get degrees that you can't make decent money in. I know we are all supposed to go in to something we "love" but students need to look at good paying jobs and get a degree in something they can make money at. Don't get a degree in a field you can't get a job in. That is a waste of time and a waste of money you don't have.

Responsible lenders will only lend what you can comfortably afford to pay back. Even if times are hard dont be tempted to borrow more money than you can repa

I've been preaching about budgeting for many years and a lot of individuals think that its a disease. Without proper budgeting, debt enters the picture quickly, especially credit cards that never get repaid.

I've already tried this! Coast guard is a few year wait and even trying to join the army there is a waiting list! I feel like I am being punished for have went to school. I really hope there is going to be hope in the furute for jobs, or at least maybe some help with paying the student loan debt. I heard there may be a forgivness for any unpaid debt after 25 years, but that may not even happen now. Also, you can budget all you want, but when you are starting off right out of school without any help from family or friends you end up on a sinking ship. It is a lot easier to hit the ground running.

Cleaning can be a challenge for some self-contained models since they don’t have removable bowls. Also try to avoid any ice cream makers with canisters that have crevices where milk can sit and spoil.
