More advice for incoming college freshmen

I am continuing with my advice for new college students. 1) Freshmen don’t know what they are talking about. Don't be intimidated by another freshman who acts like they know what's going on, they do not. If you want advice or guidance go to an upper classman or an academic advisor. 2) There is no hurry to pick a major. You have two years of general study ahead of you, there is time. 3) Anyone who tells you they are majoring in prelaw is just trying to impress you or their parents. There is no prelaw major. They may be pursuing a course of study planning to enter law school, but a major? Nope.
