FAA studying electronics takeoff rule

Business travelers have complained bitterly for years about being forced to turn off their electronic devices during take-off and landing. What does my computer have to do with the cockpit? My iPod makes the plane unsafe? Really? Well, now the FAA launches a study to see if the rules are based on facts or folklore. Cell phone use is still a no-no and is not part of his study.
